Yes, it is possible to access the Refuge by car.

However, it is strictly necessary to drive a 4×4 car with a low-speed transmission.

Yes. Remember to take the necessary for the toilet, and your sleeping bag, or take the sheet option and we will prepare your bed.

You can access the Refuge via the Gypaète trail (2h30 walk) or by road (1h30 walk).

The most used path is the road. You can park your car in the parking of Burzier (Sallanches) and walk up the road to the Refuge very easily, especially for kids.

Yes, we can provide one if requested when booking.

We can also provide bedding for the baby bed.

We only have 1 private room in the Refuge. It is a room for 2 people.

The Refuge de Doran is powered by solar panels and generators.

The water is heated by burning wood.

In May, the refuge is only open at weekends.
